About Me!
I live in a small market town in Hertfordshire, a hop skip and jump away from a lido where I love to swim in the open air, my mum’s house, a bakery with dangerous cheese and marmite pastries, and a river filled with swans.
When I’m not working or writing, I am mum to a brilliant boy and girl who make life joyful, chaotic and never dull.
For over sixteen years I’ve worked in government communications on national issues from climate change to violence against women and girls.
As both a reader and writer, I love stories that challenge our assumptions, encourage empathy and help us see the world through someone else’s eyes.
As well as reading and writing, I love the theatre, big earrings, travel, the seaside, and bright colours - all of which bring me joy!
